Message program
HubTrax On-Call Alerts
Sent by HubTrax - Level 4. Operational alerts to its own service desk staff, telling an on-call technician that work needs attention outside business hours. One program, one purpose. HubTrax - Level 4 does not send marketing or promotional text messages under this program, and does not text a client's contacts.
Agree to receive on-call text alerts
OptionalText alerts are off for everybody until the person who owns the number agrees to them. There are two ways to agree and both are voluntary: this form, or switching "Text me about on-call work" on inside HubTrax. Either way it is the owner of the number who agrees, and nobody can agree on their behalf.
This form is entirely optional, and it is the only thing it does.
Signing it records one thing: your agreement to receive HubTrax - Level 4 on-call text alerts at the number you give. Consent to receive these messages is not a condition of using the service, of creating an account, or of completing any transaction or purchase. It creates no account, grants access to nothing, and is not part of signing up for HubTrax or of any employment condition. Accepting HubTrax's terms of service does not opt you in — this form, or the switch inside HubTrax, is the only way in. Nothing else on this site asks for it and nothing else depends on it.
If you never sign it
Nothing changes and nothing stops working. You are told about on-call work inside HubTrax instead, exactly as you are now. Nobody is required to sign this, and choosing not to has no effect on your account, your access, or your job.
What is recorded: your name, your work email, your number, the wording above, the date, and the address the form was submitted from. Nothing else, and it is used only to run on-call alerting.

These are the message bodies HubTrax sends, in full. A text can be read from a locked screen, so they carry a reference and nothing else — no client name, no subject, no description, no email address.
1. Who is texted, and who is not
HubTrax - Level 4 sends these SMS text messages to one group of people: the technicians and staff of the service desk it operates. It does not text a client's contacts. It does not text somebody because they raised a ticket, filled in a form, or wrote to the service desk. It sends no marketing or promotional messages of any kind, to anybody. There is one message program and one reason for it: telling an on-call technician that work needs attention outside the service desk's business hours.
2. How somebody opts in
Texting is off by default, for everybody. A mobile number sitting in the staff directory is not permission to text it — HubTrax sends nothing to a number until its owner has agreed. Consent is given by the person being texted, and by nobody else. There are two ways to give it, and both are the same agreement: signing the form above, or switching "Text me about on-call work" on for your own number inside HubTrax, on the On call screen. The same wording is shown in both places. What an administrator can do is bounded by that. They can switch somebody's texting off at any time, so messages can always be stopped quickly. They can switch it on only for a number that has already signed the form above, and only to that number. They can never agree on somebody's behalf. Consent is not a condition of employment, of using HubTrax, or of any purchase. Nothing else in HubTrax stops working for somebody who leaves it switched off; they are told about on-call work in the application instead.
3. How often messages arrive
Message frequency varies. A message is sent only when an alert or a ticket meets the on-call rules, only outside the workspace's configured business hours, and only to somebody who is on call at that moment. Messages are limited to a maximum of 10 messages per number per hour. In a typical week a technician receives no messages at all.
4. Cost
Message and data rates may apply. Carrier message and data rates may apply to any message sent to or received from HubTrax. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
5. How to stop messages
There are two ways, and either one is enough on its own. Reply STOP to any message. Messages to that number stop. Or switch texting off in HubTrax, on the same On call screen where it was switched on. An administrator can also switch it off on somebody's behalf, so a number can be stopped even when the person who owns it is unreachable. Reply HELP to any message for help. Switching texting back on later is the same opt-in as the first time, given by the same person.
6. What happens to a mobile number
Mobile numbers are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional use. Text message originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party. A number is disclosed only to the licensed messaging provider that transmits the message on our behalf, and only in order to deliver that message. It is held against the technician's own HubTrax account and is used for nothing else.
7. Questions
Reply HELP to any message. For anything else — including a request to remove a number entirely — contact HubTrax - Level 4 through your service desk administrator.
